Why we should own agarwood rosary?
Agarwood rosary or also known as Agarwood bracelet. It is created from agarwood beads, depending on the purpose that there are different number of seeds. When talking about Tram Huong, everyone probably thinks of miraculous functions such as: feng shui items for all fates , about the typical scent that only this wood has, or this rare wood is more precious than gold. … That is why it is sought so much.
When talking about meditation, why should we choose Agarwood? Agarwood, which carries the spirit of the earth, can ward off evil spirits, change destiny, and harmonize the elements of yin and yang. Additionally, it must mention the typical fragrance of agarwood. The more touching beads of the rosary, the stronger the scent of Agarwood gives the person a sense of serenity, lightness and calmness, which eliminates the problem of life and that is what the Buddha needs. Comfort and tranquility without bare dust are the core elements of meditation.
Meaning of the total Agarwood beads number
In Buddhism, a different number of beads on a rosary will have different meanings. Depends on the number that the number of beads will represent according to the Buddhist concept:
- 108 beads for eliminating 108 sorrows represents 108 Samadhis
- 54 beads represent the 54 levels of the Bodhisattva’s training process.
- 42 beads represent the 42 levels of the Bodhisattva’s training process.
- 27 beads represent the 27 levels of the Hinayana who religion the four directions.
- The sequence of 21 beads is the representation of the twenty-ten Decas, the Ten Paramitas and the Buddhahood.
- 14 beads represent the 14 Dharma Masters of the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara.
- 1,080 beads represent of 10 regions, each having 108, so the total up to 1,080.
The rosary of 36 beads and 18 beads are argued that they do not represent any number in Buddhism. It was thought that to facilitate wearing, so it is divided 108 beads into three chains, each with 36 beads, or divided the 108 beads into six, each with 18 beads, without any connotation at all. Each person will have different opinions and thoughts. In fact, the number of beads in the rosary does not originate from any root scripture. That it originated from the Bodhisattvas, the saints who increased after the Buddha entered nirvana, were entrusted as the means of religion.
This means that the number of beads in the rosary is neither required nor fixed. So it depends on the purpose to select agarwood rosary.
