4. Types of Marble stone and treatment methods

Currently, with jadeite jade, people are usually divided into 3 types:

Firstly, Grade A jade: this is almost completely natural. People usually only treat by coating a layer of wax to protect and increase the smooth brightness of jade.

Secondly, Grade B jade: jade soak in an acid solution to remove impurities, brightening the jade. Then soak the jade in wax to fill the micro-pores and cracks to make the jade smooth; The gloss and color of the stone are improved. However, due to acid treatment, grade B jade will be more brittle than grade A.

Thirdly, Grade C jade:  treat the same as B, but with an additional color impregnating process. The dye will fade over time. Color treatment only applies to poorly colored and pale gems. Of course, grade C has the lowest value in jade.

Most marble products are covered with a thin layer of glue to increase the shine and protect the stone.
