The myth of Pisces is a fantastic story of Greek mythology related to the goddess of beauty Aphrodite and her son the god of love Eros. On a beautiful day, Aphrodite and her son were walking along the river when the monster Typhon suddenly jumped out of nowhere to harm both of them.

The sea monster Typhon is a huge marine and the most strange shape in Greek mythology. He’s tall to touch the sky and possesses the same body as a man but without legs. Instead, the tail consists of hundreds of giant snakes surrounding him to help him move. No god on Mount Olympus can overpower this giant monster.

Aphrodite and his son hadn’t a way to overwhelm Typhon as well, and the best way in this situation was to run away. The goddess of beauty is quick-witted, realizing that she is beside a big river. Quickly changing into a fish and hiding in the water was how they got out of this predicament. Fortunately for the two gods, there were two fish in the river waiting to guide them to quickly swim to safety, escaping the hunt of the furious Typhon monster.

As a reward and commemoration to the merits of two fish that saved aphrodite, the two fishes were placed in the heavens, becoming the constellation Pisces to shine for all of eternity.
